2007 Unleashed & Untrained

Here's a quick Coles-notes recap of U&U 2007 (September 29-30). DKUT placed 2nd of 29 teams.

Day 0:
-DKUT drives the long 12.5 hour trip to Montreal. Pretty f'in easy.

Day 1:
-Takes advantage of first-round bye to sleep and dream of glory.
-Game one: DKUT 13, McGill Bulldog 0.
-Game two: DKUT 13, McGill Alumni 1.
-Burger lunch.
-DKUT wins layout competition convincingly in one attempt. PFE. Check out the video below.
-Game three: DKUT 13, Drexel 1.
-Game four: DKUT 13, ECP-B 0.
-Just Noodles...without the soup-puking.
-Pre-party shenanigans chez Lametti.
-DKUT wins the party (without much help from two key members.) In the process DKUT recruits new team member, Foamy Brick, who ends up being integral in the win.
-99 cent pizza. Not quite pizza-corner calibre.

Day 2:
-Quarterfinals: DKUT 9, Montreal Alumni 7. (Come-from-behind win)
-Semifinals: DKUT 15, McMaster 9. (Come-from-behind to take half)
-Finals: DKUT 4, UQAM 15.
(FYI: "UQAM", a.k.a. Denoiret, is Montreal's UPA Club Mixed team. Unclear why they would compete in a College tourny.)
-Homewards.
