DKUT Tryout/practice info

Welcome! You have found the Dalhousie/King's Ultimate Team (DKUT) website. Stay tuned for brand new DKUT updates as planning unfolds for the 2007-2008 fall ultimate season... The Dalhousie/Kings Ultimate team (DKUT) is starting up very shortly, and it's looking like it will be another HOT season of ultimate. If you're elligible to play, come join us! Otherwise, please help spread the word by telling your university (faculty or student) friends about the team.

If you want to receive future e-mails from DKUT (i.e.if you are interested in playing DKUT this year), you need to send an email to dalultimate@yahoo.com now. In that email, please include your availability for tryouts, practices, and tournaments (details below).

DKUT tryouts:

The first set of tryouts will be on the following dates and locations:

Friday Sept 7 (7:00, Wickwire field)
Tuesday Sept 11 (4:00, Commons. North/West baseball diamond)
Thursday Sept 13 (4:30, Commons. North/West baseball diamond)
St. John tournament Sept 15/16 (St. John, NB)

Rosters for future tournaments will be set based on commitment, and ability. There's room for lots of players to go to tournaments, so if you're interested, make sure you come out! If you can't make it to one of the above but still want to play, make sure you let it be known when you send your e-mail.

Tournaments:

During the fall series, DKUT will send teams to all of the below tournaments. Note - there might be partial funding for CUUC's in Vancouver, but that is still unconfirmed. Please indicate if you could make it to these tournaments.

-St. John Co-ed tourny, St., John, NB, Sept. 15-16
-Unleashed and Untrained (U&U), Montreal, Sept. 29-30
-Canadian University Ultimate Championships (CUUC), Vancouver, Oct. 12-14
-Moncton Ultimate Club Bowl (MUCBowl), Moncton, NB, Oct. 13-14
-UPA College Spring Series (Sectionals, Regionals, Nationals), TBD.

It's still in a preliminary stage, but keep checking this site for info about practices, tournaments, etc.
